Ask your doctor if this test is right for me
By Dr. A. W. Martin | September 9, 2008
I go crazy every time i hear a big pharma commercial that ends with “ask your doctor if this drug is right for me”?You should not have to ask your doctor , they should be telling you what drug you need. However there is a test that you should ask your doctor to perform. It is a simple bood test called CRP(c-reactive protein)Doctors should be doing this test regularly but if you dont ask you wont get. CRP determines your body’s inflammatory status. Undetetected inflammation is associated with 30% of all cancers and 100% of all cardio vascular disease incuding diabetes. In my book Medical crisis i make the case for inflammation being much more dangerous than cholesterol.By the way 50% of all heart attack victims have normal cholesterol readings

Dear Dr. Martin,
My husband and I have read your book “steps to fight chronic fatigue syndrome”. Our daughter is 14 years young and has been plagued with CFS for well over a year now. We have been to all the specialists and the diagnostic testing all to find nothing. She feels her life has been torn from her and is in pain everyday with no relief or understanding from her peers, adults and teachers. She can no longer participate in any extracurricular activities or even go to a movie or mall with her friends. She feels hurt and alone at times, although she knows that we and her family are here for her. I’m afraid we’ll need to home school her from hereon in if there is no change. She knows God has a perfect plan for her life, but still at times suffers from discouragement and fear she won’t get better. She is a beautiful, sweet-spirited young girl who loves life and wants to live it. Please help us help her. We have implemented your suggestions. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. PS Thank you for your book and contribution to those who needed understanding and answers.

Dr Martin, I meet your son Dr. Tony about 7yrs ago in East Dub.He did some live blood cell analysis and other tests. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and cfs from the medical field. Needless to say Im very disappointed with my diagnosis and treatment . I was so impressed withDr. Tony. He was so compassionate and eager to help me. Needless to say I have not found a dr. near as good as him. Would you please give me some insight on my condition and what I can do to improve my health. Please let Dr. Tony I said “HI”. Also, tell Erica and Ethan I said HI. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you, Lynette Budde
