Steve Martin from his Saturday Night Live gig of 1978 [Wow I am dating myself here] delivered that great line.
“You Can Be A Millionaire.. And Never Pay Taxes!”
“You.. can be a millionaire.. and never pay taxes! You can be a millionaire.. and never pay taxes!
You say.. “Steve.. how can I be a millionaire.. and never pay taxes?” First.. get a million dollars.
Now.. you say, “Steve.. what do I say to the tax man when he comes to my door and says, ‘You.. have never paid taxes’?”
Two simple words. Two simple words in the English language: “I forgot!”
How many times do we let ourselves get into terrible situations because we don’t say “I forgot”?
Let’s say you’re on trial for armed robbery. You say to the judge, “I forgot armed robbery was illegal.” Let’s suppose he says back to you, “You have committed a foul crime. you have stolen hundreds and thousands of dollars from people at random, and you say, ‘I forgot’?”
Two simple words: “Excuuuuuse me!!”
We’ll be right back, after these words!”
Back in 1978 I knew I would never be on SNL. I would probably never even sit in the audience. But I KNEW I WOULD BE A MILLIONAIRE!
And I love the line; “First, get a million dollars.”
It seems like all these people are selling get rich with this and that to be a MILLIONAIRE and the thing they forget to tell you is “First, get a million dollars.”
Of course this type of stuff is a JOKE. We are Doctors and we make our money ON E PATIENT AT A TIME. Never forget that. We must A.ttract bunches of patients and R.etain them through the care and T.reat them effectively.
If you have a NICHE, well you can pick the patients you want to work with and get paid CASH MONEY DOLLARS for your services. This is how you MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS.
Get into the Neuropathy Patient Marketing System and see what we are talking about.

Thank you for the light-hearted trip down memory lane, Dr DiDuro. Success indeed does come one happy patient at a time – great reminder in this “get rich quick” age we are in.
Also, Steve Martin is now on Twitter and he’s a lot of fun to follow (@SteveMartinToGo ).
