Berka joins Bloomington Natural Care Center

Alexandria resident Joshua Berka, ND, LAc, has joined the staff at Northwestern Health Sciences University’s Bloomington Natural Care Center in Bloomington, Minn. Berka is the only licensed naturopathic doctor in Minnesota who also has a license in acupuncture.

Among the services Berka provides are customized botanical medicines, acupuncture, laser therapy, weight loss, pain management, physical exams, diagnostic assessment, nutritional consultation and supplementation, detoxification, natural hormone modulation therapy, homeopathic remedies, physical medicine, counseling and stress management, and energy-based psychotherapy techniques to address emotional and somatic stress.

Berka is a 2005 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Ore., where he received degrees in both naturopathic medicine and classical Chinese medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at the University of North Dakota.
